Cisco C2960X-STACK

Cisco C2960X-STACK is a Cisco Catalyst belonging to the 2960 X or 2960 XR series that uses Flex Stack technology which allows flexible management throughout the network. Cisco IOS Software single universal image has been installed in these series of switches. The switch management features supported by Cisco switch series 2960-X and -XR includes Web UI and Bluetooth connection with other devices. Whereas, the network management supports the Cisco DNA center, and the Cisco network plug and play feature. It has a flash memory of 128 MB specifically for LAN Base and IP Lite SKUs and flash memory of 64 MB for LAN Lite SKUs. Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) of 512 MB and 256 MB is for LAN Base and LAN Lite respectively. The CPU Processor of APM86392 600 MHz dual-core has been attached for fast and active responses.

The bi-directional bandwidth is 80Gbps which allows a maximum of eight stack members. It supports hot swappable stack modules, Flex Stack, and Flex Stack plus technologies. All 2960 models including -X, supports LAN Base by using Flex Stack protocol. It hence allows to stack few of these models in a single stack.  These switches, along with fixed power supplies, also support an external redundant power supply, if needed. The two console ports USB (B) and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet RJ-45 are available with one storage interface USB (A) for external flash storage only. It also supports a jumbo Ethernet frame of 9216 bytes with forwarding and switching bandwidth of 50 Gbps and 100 Gbps respectively.
